Photo by Filios Sazeides on Unsplash This is a continuance of embrace the discomfort. I met him near the restaurant after some years. We inquired about each other's well-being. He invited me to the restaurant for having breakfast. I was hungry, so, I did not say anything but accepted his offer instantly. Since I was not so picky, I left him the decision of deciding the dishes. After ordering, he started telling “I’m in fact not excited to live in this area. I want to shift my residence to a good area like where you inhabit. I have been hunting for many houses for more than nine months, but I couldn’t get anything as per my interest.” I asked him whether I would search for a house for him. He quickly said, “no…no… I can’t commute 20 km to go to my office every day. “ “If … Continue reading Embrace the discomfort-2
Photo by Polina Kovaleva from Pexels I considered it would be an appropriate time to write this as we are nearing the New Year. Commemorating the New Year is not going to be a big deal because everyone celebrates worldwide but many of us think that it would be the biggest question of what should be started from day one of the New Year. When we talk about the ‘New Year,’ we frequently talk about the ‘Resolutions’ … Continue reading Don’t give it up in the middle.

Photo by Markus Winkler from Pexels Here, we have to acknowledge others for our actions habitually. We need to consider what the other person will think about us if we do this. In this way, our uniqueness dies as we value the opinion of others continuously. We can value others' opinions for our life. However, we cannot entrust our complete life to others' hands. We can seek others' opinions but the real question is, to what extent. Let’s see the life of a man. He is a security guard for an MNC. He has to catch two buses to reach his work … Continue reading Try walking on your own
Photo by Brett Sayles from Pexels He is an accountant in a private firm. Two things are main in his life. Coffee and newspaper. He was waiting for his coffee from his wife this morning after brushing the teeth. He was given coffee today with a slight delay. But, he could not accept the delay. His mind became restless. After having a cup of coffee, he felt energetic. Only then he would take care of other works. Sorry…he has one more significant work after the coffee which is reading the newspaper. He does not want to miss this sequence because he has been keeping this order for seven years. If there is a shift in this ‘programme’, his mind does not admit. I think, if we compare him with others it would appear that he is moderately okay. Let us see about another person. Till that … Continue reading Don’t get frightened. Accept the change.

Without any further delay, he woke his son up and informed him. Yes, he decided to send his twenty-two-year-old son on his behalf. He told all viable directions to his son to reach the specific place. Son was saying, ‘yes’ to his father whatever he said. Hence, he came out of the house and started moving towards the wedding hall. Middle of the way he forgot the route which was told by his father. Finally, he attended the wedding, but it was somebody’s wedding at some other wedding hall. Looks very absurd it seems, doesn’t it? Why was there some confusion?
