Corner Talks #1

He has been working in this organization for more than eight months. His main job is to type many documents associated with the tender. Since it is going to be posted to the government officials, it has to be typed accurately but he does not make the work with diligence. He has not prepared the document without any single mistake so far, but unfortunately, he has not shown any remorse.  Subsequently, it is managed by an old man who is about to retire from his service very soon.

Today it went beyond his control. The Managing Director of the company has provided him a very little amount of time to do the job perfectly otherwise he has to leave the organization. He approached the old man for the first time in eight months and asked “Sir, how do you type these many documents without any glitches at this age?”

The old man grinned and said to him “There is no great deal with the job dear. Since you wanted to complete the task instantly, you attempted to finish it fast. So there were errors whereas I don’t focus on completing the task. I constantly attempt to do the job with more patience. Just bear in mind my friend  ‘haste makes waste.’

  1. As much as I try to take time and correct my spelling and grammar I am hit and miss.
I do love the sentiments of this post and am so jealous of those that are on the money with their writing.

  2. Great post. As one that tries to be mindtul with my writing, I miss the spelling and gramatics often even though I try to dot my i’s and cross my t’s. So jealous for those that don’t struggle with that.
